Pactiv

I have dealt with pactiv before and never had a problem, until this one. It's the one located in Canandaigua, NY. They are absolutly rude and so slow. I got there at 10 am and finally got out of there at 6. and they kept moving me from dock door to dock door in different buildings. It was sunny and pleasant when i got there but by the time i left it was snowing and had some major wind conditions. Not gonna go into major details but by the time i left i was hungry and very aggrevated.

That's Terrible!

I used to work for Pactiv in Jacksonville IL. The guys on the forktrucks were always fast at unloading/loading at that plant. NY sounds like hell.

That's just STRANGE for a Pactiv plant. Not saying I doubt you at all, because my hubby hasgone to one to branch of a company in Denver and been just fine, and then went to the branch in Trenton and got what you did...

My hubby drops and picks up at Pactiv in the Bay area, in CA, and they are great, in and out in an hour tops.

I work at Pactiv in Temple, Tx.

It takes me a while sometimes to load up the trucks at the RMC.
Up to 4 hours.
We go through some major BS...

That's crap they made you move to different dock doors.

I've been to the Canandaigua plant, that's truth there. I had to move between two different doors, their plant has brick walls between the areas that they can't access through so I think that's why it's the way it it. I've hauled out of the Winchester plant and never had an issue there. At least the day I was there I was the only one so I was out in about two hours.

The pactiv plant here in Malvern, AR is mostly pre-loaded from what I hear. Kind of a drop and hook deal for company dudes, O/O's would have to wait I guess.

I actually worked there for a hot minute when I was 18... back when it was Ammeco foam.

I pick up a lot at Pactiv in Fresno and Bakersfield CA. Bakersfield we drop and hook at and Fresno is a live load but never been in a door over an hour. Love these loads cause they are never over 10k weight wise. Zoomin' over them mountains.

Been to that one before (NY). I remember it's kinda out in the middle of nowhere. Had a drop n hook so all I can say is they were average. I remember having a hard time getting in a dock at a paciv in Indiana. Had a friggin half a football field to use but had a hell of a time getting it in there lol. Now HUISH in Bowling Green KY (probably all their plants) SUCKS! Eight hour wait times there is normal for live loads.

Huish in Bowling Green is a real pain most of the time. The one in Dyersburg Tn can be slow. And the one in Salt Lake usually don't get in a hurry either. Most of the stuff I done for them was drop and hook, but occasionaly we had to live load/unload then it was hurry up and wait.
