My doors are locked when I'm driving, sleeping, anything. I get out, even if I will be in sight of it the entire time, it's locked. I came out of the towing/recovery trade, picked up MANY a stolen vehicle. Victim says "I just left it running cause I was going to be real quick", crook says "opportunity knocked, I answered"!

Maybe it's their culture to do stuff like this.
Once someone enters a place that they do not own, have premission to be in, or have premission to enter that is called trespassing and you are allowed to take reasonable mesures to protect yourself.

Once I would of seen the man in my cab he would of not gotten a chance to explaine anything it would of been crack from the tire thumper to his head and he would of stayed in the truck untill the cops came.

Then the cops would give that guy premission to say at the county hotel.

I don't care were it is at if someone enters anything I am living in without my premission they will get a crack to the head or anything else I can strike at the time.

They can not say that you assulted anyone because all you have to say is I was sleeping next thing I know my door opens and there the person is inside my place without premission I did not know them and also did not know if they had weapons I was in fear for my saftey so I popped him with my tire thumper. Self Defence plain and simple
Your company may not like it but they will most likely understand why you did it and advise their client to never go into any trucks again just knock untill someone responds.

I am not a nice guy when I get woke up unless it is by an alarm and have time to completely wake up.
I have been known to take a swing at the person touching me trying to wake me up while I am in bed.

Like most here I always have the doors locked, and most of the time when sleeping I use a small ratchet strap from door to door, which also provides a place to hang stuff up to dry while sleeping, a little anyway.

From a shipper/receiver point of view......I knock on the window....If you dont come too in a reasonable amount of time....well...guess your parked and missed your window to leave, unload whatever. I guess the knock has always worked so not really sure what I would do, but I think i would probably call the trucking company if I couldnt get the truckers attention and if I needed that truck moved.

Not no, but hell no....Being a chick, if I woke up with a guy in the cab, I'd just have to go postal. I have a device for such circumstances. Zap!

LOL, yeah. This guy looked like he couldn't hurt a fly though. Plus he was really easy going and friendly. That is why I didn't say anything to him.

Hopefully his middle name isn't Wayne ... all the serious serial killers have the middle name Wayne.
