Maybe it's their culture to do stuff like this.
I had a guy open my door to put the BL on the dash. He really was too pathetic to deal with. It was a weak wannabe alpha male gesture. I just let it go.

I think there might be a culture connection in your situation. I used to work at a Chinese ran business, never was much regard for personal space there. Nor with distant Chinese relatives I have.

LOL at the responses "why was your door unlock" blah blah blah. So many truckers so little reason.

Don't be quick to beat on the guy opening the door...He was in Toronto, and that will get you into all kinds of trouble. There have been store owners charged for shooting criminals during robberies up here. Lock your doors, and problem solved.

Well technically the truck is your home if you do not know the guy and you are in fear for your saftey then you may protect yourself.

You may use reasonable force to protect yourself.

Yes the store owners should get in trouble for shooting criminals unless there was proof that the criminals started shooting first if that was the case then it was self defense.

I do not disagree with you saying keep the doors locked I always do but that does not give anyone right if they find a unlocked door to enter.

If you got arrested for going into a house that you do not own or rent would your defense be well the door was unlocked so I went into the house to look arround?

Under the circumstances, I think it would have been nice of you to explain the error that the friendly Chinese fellow made by entering your truck, or any other truck for that matter. He might not be so lucky next time.
HaiL!
He might enter MGASSEL's truck unannounced.

ONCE, just once, when I was riding with my hubby, we had some jerk try to get in the passenger door at an intersection. Thankfully, the door waslocked, but the window was down and Fool had grabbed the bottom of the window. I smacked him with a full bottle of Coke, right over the top of the head. Ever since then, the door stays locked, the window is up, and the BIG maglite is right beside me!
