| About 14 years ago we were delivering to a high rise condo building Same one Herb Kohl lives in, must be pretty fancy Any way they would not allow us to park in the front, and we couldn't use the back because of size At the time being young we parked on the street and made our delivery Now as I have grown with age, I would take the load back and refuse My dad always said, a little oil leak is OK Shows the truck is still running

| I'd go get me a rentel car and loosen the plug a little and let it drain about a quart while I was shopping..........HAha .....Just Kiddinn............Any you Greenpeace people out there don't be jumping on me........ Tell them to pound sand......... BAACK just like the Marine Helos they used to shuttle us around in...........If it quits leaking its because it ran out......... |
| ||||
| HeY! There's the answer! Pound that sand OVER the cobblestones --- to protect them. Paint the sand green to keep the tree-huggers appeased. And give the security guards security brooms. Just tell 'em to run a "sweep" of the parking lot, ........ you know, to keep all that sand in line. They seem to like pushing weight around. Ya reckon. |

| That's funny. They would have to deal with people dropping their gum or spilling drinks, food wrappers, etc even if they converted this cobblestone roadway into just a sidewalk. I just believed, in my humble opinion, that these circumstances are all incidental and part of routine maintenance. There were at least a dozen security guards with pickups and other cars that drove over it while we were there. And dock 7 where we were parked at t-boned right into the cobblestone. I just thought this was an asinine setup. I really wonder if the architects or whoever designed the darned lot ever considered this. My guess is probably not. Also, if they REALLY spent a million dollars on this cobblestone, surely they have the money for some basic cleanup supplies to take care of it, don't ya think? We almost told these guys this, but thought better of it. Thanks for all the replies. It appears that they did make a federal case out of this. Just be warned if you have to go to this "lovely" mall to deliver. |

| Geez... my truck leaks more oil than the Exxon Valdez. I wonder if they'd like me to make a delivery? Ya think? ![]() That SOB would look like blacktop when I got done with it.

| If you had reason to be there (and you did), and the path/roadway in question was designed to be used by vehicular traffic, I would've told them to go to hell when they asked for company info. It's no business of theirs, you weren't delivering to them, so 'nuff said.
