Heidtman Steel in IN will not allow you to even wash your hands in their facilities much less their washroom. Absolutely NO excuse for this inconsiderate indecent kind of rule. Luckily for me I always have an empty large mouth bottle in the truck in case of emergency and a 5 gallon flexible plastic jug of water and fast orange hand cleaner in my truck. I will never haul another load to or from their facilities again. Human decency is the least I expect from other human beings.

When I do get it, the caption will read:

And you wonder why they don't want you parking in their lot?

Yes... I am dead serious.
I have a video of a driver using the pilot fuel island to pee in.
Kinda funny having a dashcam running and the guy infront while fueling walked to back of trailer and went peed on the ground.
He was all upset when I showed him the camera in the windsheild & tried to make excuses that he had a weak bladder.

I really wanted to post it on you tube but haven't yet & yes you can read the company name on the trailer.

why dont u send the video to the company. and tell em where it took place, within just a few yards of a bathroom.
no excuse for doing it at a truck stop while in the fuel island.

Wow!!!

You know some things never change... I have seen drivers pissing on the fuel island... I could never understand that. The damn restroom is inside the building!!!! Now as far as the topic here on Shippers/receivers not going to let you use their restrooms....That is a load of ####. I bet they wonder why the lot smells like piss. Now as far as doing the pee bottle thing or going between the trk and trlr...Hey do what you got to do. I have been to a few places like that and had to "cool off a tire"

I remember a place I went to (pipe yard) that had a sign on it's building that said, "no dogs or truck drivers allowed".

Which Heidtman Steel are you talking about? I ran out of every Heidtman plant they have and never had any issues with bathroom use. Most of the guys are pretty decent and will show ya the cleaner restroom to use, now some of the office help is another story.

AK Steel in Middletown, OH used to have a port-a-john outside of the gate for drivers to use. They didn't want any drivers to use the employee locker room bathrooms because of the fear of vandalism. After sitting in a building for hours waiting on someone to do a 15 minute job kinda makes drivers upset. I guess AK couldn't realize that most of the vandalism came from the disgruntled union workers.

It was in Eastern IN in Amish country, I don't remember the name of the town. There were several large Heidtman wharehouses on the same block though, nice buildings. It was the shipping office where I was picking up my paperwork that said their facilities were off limits to truck drivers.

I can remember a co. in Chciago a few years ago told me I could not use their bathroom. I had to go bad, but they said drivers were stealing their paper powels and toliot paper, so they did'nt allow any drivers to use their bathrooms. I went in my bunk.... Took a dump in 2 walmart bags (one inside the other). After I was unloaded, I pulled up a few feet to close my doors.... Then I through the bag under the trailer. Right in the middle of their dock path!
