I just had to refuse a load because my tarps came from walmart. I am not terribly upset about it.

I had a pallet of 100# sacks of flour refused because there was a small tear on the sack on the top. But they told me, they would accept it if the tear was on the bottom (versus the top). I asked for an empty pallet and restacked that pallet in no time.

I asked what was the deal about that and the QA lady told me that if the hole is not on the bottom, it could contaminate the sacks below. But since it was on the bottom, there was nothing it could contaminate and they could take it.

I have used a wally world tarp a few times.
I would need to cover 4 feet in the middle of the load or something, so I wouls buy a cheap blue one.
As long as they were overlapped right and it was in the middle it worked fine.

Steal my ragged tarps? Please do, lol. Me and my dispatcher are haggling with the company for real tarps. The higher ups don't want to cough up the cash. He's just avoiding tarped loads for now.

My tarps don't blow off, I strap the hell out of them.

I just had a Home Depot refuse a pallet of attic ladders because the boxes were wet on top. Well, duh, it's a flatbed and it's raining, lol.

Edit: Ok, now I'm at the next store, they took their stuff off but refuse to move the one pallet from my lower deck to the top deck because "they can't touch another store's freight. So I can't pick up my next load. Hell with Home Depot.

Can't have your next shipper move them for you?
