I am sure anyone who watched steve in action had a thought in the back of their mind that one day he was going to get hurt by the animals he filmed/worked with. If he had been killed in a car accident or died from some horrible disease the loss would be no different.

Nor did he, obviously. Goes to show, the one time you let your guard down...

There shall be a Tribute to this Gentleman on Tuesday, 9-19 on Animal Planet.
Some of the GREAT ADVENTURERS are not with us for long yet they inspire and amaze while they are here.

Thank You Mr. Irwin!!

Re: Vale Steve Irwin

Well, I don't know if reincarnation is true or not, but if it is, he will be back. His work was tremendously beneficial to all of us and I'm sure that he will think that he has still a lot more to do for animals and the world.

God Bless you Steve and your family.
