Unhappy Jon (PortlandDriver), Rest In Peace, My Trucking Brother.

(Jon) PortlandDriver,

I just talked to you the other day, I wondered why I hadn't gotten a reply from you after my last PM. I am deeply disturbed by the loss of you...I know we had our ins and outs, but I appreciated your last PM and am glad to have, at least, talked with you before your journey into the unknown.

You were one of my hero's...WHY? Because you said it like you thought it, and you could give a darn whether I liked it or not, I loved that about you...(sometimes, LOL). Simply put, you were FAR from apathetic.

No matter how much we argued, no matter how much #### we went through together...you were still my BROTHER as a truck driver. I'll remember your last words to me, no one will know them, but me.

I hope you are hammering down in heaven town...where there are no limits, and the speed limit surpasses the speed of light itself. So long, my trucking brother.

I am equally shocked to read this, and definitely saddened to read it.

My condolences to the family.

May he rest in peace.

P.S. - I want to publicly state that I did not dislike Jon at all. We just seemed to clash at times, and that's going to happen between people. He always seemed to be much more upset with me, than I was with him. I had always hoped that we would at some point be able to work through our differences. I guess that was not to be.

So Jon, if you are able to get online and are checking us out from that better place from time to time, I hope you will know that it wasn't the way I wanted things to be. You added flavor to the forums that will be sorely missed. I truly regret the differences that came between us. Take care....
