dad's insperation

My dad used to be a telephone contractor. On the week end and summers I would go to work with him to help. We would drive some times hours in to the forest to work on the pedistals on the side of the roads. I loved the drive even though he would never let me drive his pick up but i always enjoyed the seanery and the solitude of being on the road even just for a few hours.
When I got older i met a man got married moved away and got in a lot of trouble my dad was always trying to get me to come home and get my life straight but I never did. I was incarased in jail in 11-03-03 whem my dad passed away. I went even futher down hill untill august 04 i went to prision and then that was when I finally straightened up. When I was releases in aug 05 I got my license and then got my class B cdl and in 07 and now I'm driving otr expediting. I really thing my dad would be really proud of me i finally got rid of me x-husband found the love of my life and finally doing some thing i really enjoy.

Awww that is so cool! I am glad you find the light at the end of the tunnel!
REally I am one to know life isn't all peachy and there is many obstical courses that people look down on you for. I am one you can screw up and I will always be there. Now mess with the kids and umm well? It just depends.

Congratulations on being a better person today

Isn't it amazing how we at times have to go thru things to get something good!

Iam sure your DAD would be proud of you as well.

I made alot of mistakes too growing up but, finally seen the light...coming from a dysfunctional family it was hard. BUT before my father passed...he told me he was proud of me....and WOW...I will never forget those words.

Froggy I give you a high five. You are an overcomer and I am happy you had the strength and courage to endure. Life is ahead of you and I wish you happiness and joy and I know your Dad is looking down at you with a big smile on his face.

Smile Thats great ...

I'm so sorry for your loss, and the problems you've had in your life. But as we can see from your story there is a reason for everything. And I think God put some things in your path through life to place you where you are today. God bless you and your family. I think its great you finally got your life in order and met the man of your dreams. Keep up the good work, and be careful out there. From one woman trucker to another, its not a easy life out there ... but its a good one if you let it be. I love my life on the road and drive team w/my hubby. I attribute everything that has happened in my life and my being where i am today to God.
