OMG!!! I can only imagine what you all feel. I am so terribly sorry. Please tell your daughter to talk about it and be OK with that. I held so many bad things for years and no one to talk to. It seems you're being supportive and that will be key to her coping. As well don't take this into yourself. This is not your fault!!! Don't for one second let him take anymore of the 2 of you than he already has. You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers.

This kind of thing is sickening to all of us.Guess if you could post the name I would certainly tell him what I think of him. my thoughts and prayers go out to little ashley and you,please tell her that buck and a half said to just tell the truth and everything that happened will come to the best ending possible for you and her. Hate to hear stories like this,there is too much of it these days,should be a death sentence for those kinds of things.

BGM - glad to hear your little girl was able to tell the story and also that the cops were so good with her. Hope justice is served and everything works out for all of you. Keep us posted, we're still praying! Give her a big "truckers" hug from all of us!!

I am so sorry to hear about what your family is going through. Your son is probably also upset right now. He will now be denied contact with his father, he feels guilty for not protecting his sister, and rage about what happened to his little sister. Make sure that you include him in your healing.

So if this scumbag (okay, alleged scumbag so I don't get flamed) has his CDL suspended, how is he out driving? Does his company know his license is suspended, or does he work for himself?

In Ohio, if their DL's are suspened for child support they ususally get a notice before hand to get their support caught up, or it WILL be suspended, if they don't they are not notified and it is followed through. I know because my daughters biological father was a driver and they had to threaten him all the time, he got pulled over once for a light out and ended up getting arrested for suspened license. Should have paid the support!!

Well, as for innocent until proven guilty, I myself believe Ashley but when he called me last night to ask why I did not return his phone call from the day before, I just told him to call the phone # of the police to talk to the investigating officer, I told him nothing about why, I also do not want to "point/accuse" but found out that the officer told Ashley that her dad would most likely be going to jail, so that tells me alot right there.
And as for his cdl, he works for himself and his address is never the same as what is on his license, he moves around alot and he lies and guess he feels like he is above the law, he does not go by theHOS rules or anything, but I found out from a close friend (mom of his 7 yr old) that he got a hold of the officer and is scheduled to go see her tomorrow (thurs) at 10:00 eastern time so as soon as I get word of what happened I will post.
Ashley is being extremely vocal about this and is sharing details that make me want to be sick, so I am thankful it is not held up inside her, CPS will be calling with some victim assistance info as well, she will need counseling for some time to come and we are here for her.
I do want to say that she wanted to read my story that I posted and she picked out the broken heart icon, she also has read some of your replies, now all of them and the prayers and concern you all have shown has also helped her healing process. Thank you all again.

My goodness this day has been a rollercoaster ride, full of highs lows and really highs. First, he made his 10:00 appt and spoke with the officer briefly`and they let him go, I was wrong about how it would go down. when I talked to the officer today she said they have to continue investigating, and asked me about my oldest son being accused of doing this same thing 2wice before-accused by the current accused, he is now pointing his finger at my oldest again. I thought OMG!! he will get away with this! My minute sheet that went to the superior court for mod. of visitation is now going to be a hearing no date yet, OMG last time that happened he had atty I did not I lost custody to him! (fought back now have sole custody) well I called the CPS person to get counseling info and asked about this hearing situation and she said, not to worry, criminal charges will be filed and multiple agencies are on this case so I went back on a high. As you know I am bluegrassbandmom-the new oldtimers is their band, ages 11-18, our guitar players mom passed away from cancer that metastesized to her brain, went to her viewing today,-nother low, while there, our banjo player informed us that there is someone talking to rebel records to work out a deal for a recording contract -high, it has been a funky week for us, I will keep you posted. bgbm, and family
