I'm writing this in this thread cause I want to put it somewhere here and this seemed like the best place, so here goes.
On Thursday, the day before I was to come home off the road, I talked to my daughter as I always do, however she had been with her dad, who is also a truck driver, I had not spoke with her since the friday before. He took her on the truck with him ( I did not know this) well, she loved her dad so much that anytime she could, she would go with him, and I would encourage the father/daughter bond, (she is 10) my next oldest child a boy (11) hated to go with him cause he calls him lazy and makes fun of him for wetting the bed (I had enuresis as well til I was 13) but I encouraged him to go 'spend time with your dad'.
Well, when I spoke with her she told me that something bad had happened to her at dads' and she would tell me only if I promised I would not tell anyone cause he would go to prison and if he got out he would come find her and kill her, so I thought she was exagerating a bit. I never in my life thought that I would have to take my daughter to the police to report a molestation against my childs' father, at first I did not believe her, but the more that came out the more I realized this could only be true, tomorrow I will go to the courthouse to sign modification custody papers, he is not allowed visits unless supervised-that comes from CPS. So my little girl will have to sit and explain to the investigators in detail what she endured on that truck-twice-...I am sick, I want to hurt someone (though the law will do that for me-hopefully), though my first priority is my children, I work for roehl but my dsr kept asking me this morning 'so, when will you be ready to come out?' I kept saying I don't know what is going to happen, I got a message on my phone that they would have a load ready for me at 0600 for tomorrow (message broken, I think that is what it said) I will be turning my truck in probably wednesday, it seems she was only interested in quotas or whatever, though I was off for 2 wks sick/and had testing done to find out why, about 3 weeks ago, Roehl has been good to me but I need to be with my little girl during this difficult time so, if you could find it in your hearts to include Ashley in your prayers it would be appreciated. My little girl is scared she will make her daddy go to prison, I hope my little girl has the strength to tell all that happened on that truck. So her dad will be punished for what he did, to my little angel.

"Lord, please be with this family, give them the strength to get through all that they will endure. Please give Ashley the strength to speak to whom ever she needs too, and let her know that you are with her. Please give her the courage of an adult to get through this awful ordeal." Amen..........

Oh my God, what a nightmare. I send you my best wished that you can get through this as best as possible, and for a full recovery for your daughter.

thanks to all for your prayers/concern, I found out more interesting facts last night including his harley has a lien on it by the county prosecutor, and his cdl has been suspended also by child support prosecutor for not paying another mother's support-he is out on the road right now, but our case, I will let you know what we find out today. I am married to a survivor of some very horrible things, and my sister works with survivors. I have about as good of an idea that a man is going to get of what they go thru.

It makes me physically sick to read this story. I'm so sorry.

Please help your daughter to understand that her dad going to prison is the least of her worries right now. And that for committing a crime he should go to jail.

I will post updates as I get new info on this, I can say that I have a very brave little girl, she was totally scared to go talk to the investigator, Ashley requested a lady to talk to and she got to tell her story to a very nice officer. They said that there are 2 sides to every story and they need his side to finish this investigation, but she did say that when the investigation is finished charges WILL BE FILED IMMEDIATELY my guess is that when they get him in the office that is when they take him down
