Veteran trucker loved the open road Veteran trucker loved the open road 9/4/08 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, WI Quote: Art Rolland spent his working life in one kind of truck or another, from a tractor on the family farm to big rigs on interstate highways. He was 80 and still driving part time when cancer struck again last fall. His boss recommended Rolland take time off for treatment, and he wasn’t able to return to work. Severt A. Rolland died of colon cancer Sunday. He was 81. He was also being treated for multiple myeloma and monitored for a form of leukemia.
