ELIZABETHTOWN – Henri “Hank” Poulsen’s seven children knew she loved over the road trucking, but they were not aware of the vast number of friends she’d made during her 30 years of hauling until last week, when tragedy struck.
In the predawn hours of Tuesday morning, the 68-year-old Elizabethtown resident was at the rear of her trailer on the lot of Kroger’s Kentucky Distribution Center near Middletown when another small rig struck and killed her. Daughter Laurie Jaggers said her mother’s death was only a dawn for her mother’s meaningful life coming to light and starting to shine.
