Jets Ticket Holder from NJ Sues Patriots and Coach Belichick

NEW YORK (AP) -- A Princeton man and Jets season-ticket holder files a class-action suit against the New England Patriots and coach Bill Belichick for "deceiving customers.''

VIDEO: Jets Ticket Holders Sue Patriots, Belichick
Carl Mayer's suit stems from the Patriots being caught videotaping signals from Jets coaches, in violation of league rules, in New England's 38-14 season-opening win September 9.
Mayer's attorney, Bruce Afran, accused the Pats of violating "the integrity of the game." "This is a way of punishing Belichick and the Patriots.''
Mayer is seeking more than $184 million in damages for Jets ticket holders.
Belichick was fined $500,000 by the league, and the team was fined $250,000 for violating a league rule that prohibits clubs from using cameras on the sidelines for any purpose.

Well that didn't take as long as I thought it would. I knew somebody would end suing somebody over this.

If I were the judge, my advice would be pretty simple.

"All of you need to get a life, its a game".

Ok, as a Colts fan I abhor the Patriots, but a $184,000,000 law suit for a season ticket holder in Joisey and a Jets fan (poor feller) is absolutely ridiculous and I hope the judge laughs this case right out of the courtroom.

easy on the "life" comments......hey, I'm just a 6 figure income away from being a season ticket holder myself....although I'd never sue someone over something as ridiculous as this

it's entertainment, fellers....some folks take it to an extreme, including myself sometimes...I've been known to hoot and holler at the TV while watching a game...but as I said, you won't ever hear about me being involved in such a ludicrous lawsuit

Then anyone that saw a basketball game by that ref that got caught gambling and their team lost should sue as well. As well as for anyone that saw a game that a player was found guilty of using steroids and helped that team win, etc...

So tired of this crud. Judges suing for millions over a pair pants and so many other asinine things.
