I've Been Driving For SRT For Almost 1.5Yrs Now.. Just Like Any Other Company, They Have Their Bad Areas And Good Areas.. Every Company Out There Is A Good Company, Pending If "YOU" Are Willing To Get Off Your Duff And Work And Leave That Drivers Door Closed! SRT Has Been Very Nice And Very Considerate To Me And My Family.. I Was Taken To The Hospital By Ambulance A Couple Of Months Ago While On The Road For Health Issues And Numerous Amount Of People At The SRT Main Office(From Admin Staff To Dispatchers)Called Me To Insure I Was OK. They Didn't Care About The Truck(Thou Legally Parked), They Were Concerned About The Driver..They Contacted My Family To Insure Them I Was OK And Such. And Very True, They Do Push You Hard, But Only As Hard As You Wanna Run. In All,Since I Started Driving A Truck Back In 2002, This Has Been About The Happiest, Healthiest, And Most Productive Company I've Seen Yet On The Small Sector...I Have Seen A Pattern Thou, Seems Like A Lotta Folks That Complain About SRT, Has Either Messed Up Their Own Career At SRT, Or Lied On Their Application.Example?Their Was One On Another Blog Talking TRASH From Nevada About SRT Stating That They Brought Him All The Way There And Had Him Sit For 4 Days Of The 5 Days In Orientation Just To Send Him Home, That Was Solely Cause He LIED On His Application And He Finally Confessed About The Truth On The 5th Day...I Know That To Be A Fact Cause He Was In My Orientation Class. To Give You An Idea, I Got My Truck In April Of 2010 And It Only Had 5Digits, Now In September Of 2011, It Has Well Almost 300,000mls On It! So, You Only Run Hard As You Want To.. They Are Very Picky About LOGS, Legal Running, Ect. So, In My Opinion, SRT Is A Great Company To Work For On The Small Company Sector.Now That CSA Has Been Activated, Yes, They(Just Like All LEGAL Running Companies)Are Going To Be Extremely Picky!Which Is Good Cause It Protects The Rest Of Us Hard Driving Drivers Out There Trying To Make A Living Out Here And Take Care Of Our Families And Keeps The Dangerous Igmo's Off The Road!You'll Know Who They Are, Jack~Knifed In The Snow, Ect. To Give A Grand Idea How SRT Is, Old~Man~Winter Is Amongst Us Now, And It Is AGAINST SRT Policy For Any Driver(Good Or Bad, Seasoned Or Rookie, Company Or Owner~Operator)To Drive On Ice!

How many miles have you driven in 18 months?????

If drivers do what they are told, they will run you as many miles a driver can push (e or paper) note you can only log legal...so drivers the use 1 hour on duty line 4 per day and manage your log effectively, can drive up to 11 hours and at least 500 miles per day sometimes more.

I just come off a six seek run and was late getting home by two days. They don't promise you will be home on-time, but they will get you home, eventually. The Loads always take PRIORITY (being late will cost you) but you cant fine them for being late getting you home(sucks). They can also put 2 cents per mile bonus in your payroll settlement. Freight is master and drivers must serve the master when working in OTR longhaul...for SRT.
