Great company for rookies in my opinion!!! They are very safety conscious which is a good thing for inexperienced drivers. A lot of drivers don't like Stevens because of what they consider excessive 'hand holding', but I personally preferred knowing that they were watching out for me and my loads. I don't know for sure that they are currently hiring out of NYC, but we do move a lot of freight in and out of New York, somostly likely they are.

I applied one day and got a call from a recruiter the next, they are pretty quick.

Yes currently driving for them as a Company driver. Not interested in the lease program at this time.
