Unhappy Don't go there try CR England instead!

Grandma Debi found out this Stevens company is a mess from the very start of the applications. It is not a good place! Just read the reports here. Even the better business bureau has unresolved negative reports on file. One grandma Debi went to CR England! All seems to be well there. She will graduate on January 16. Everything will be great in 2008! Just stay away from stevens!!!!

You don't have enough time there to have an opinion

Debi, you don't have enough time at that outfit to have an opinion, given all the negative press that regularly comes from there. Give it a few months, then come back and tell us all about how great it is.

And all 13 years

And all 13 of those years one could see an England ad in the paper every day of the world, hoosierboy. Time sits still at these rotten companies, as nothing ever changes. 'Sides....some people need somebody talkin' to 'em for 13 years before they get the message. I've been at it only about two years, but if it takes 13 to get the message out, so be it.

You also have to consider this is a website. It's not an electronic version of the Cheers Bar where guys come in and shoot the #### from day to day and cry in their beer as they look for sympathy. At least that's not what I get from the title of the site. New guys arrive here every day who need to be "educated" about the real trucking-company world.

Next.

She's green

No kidding, especially with what's on the net for all to read. But.....

Debi's green, NoTarps. We have to give her some slack. She's been at C. Our. England Advertisement for only a week. Give her a few more and we'll then see what she has to say.

Tip, I assume that you do not drive now, as your 3 years experience shows. So if this is true you really do not have the experience to show anyone anything. If you are going to bash companies as you do, you should have an alternative. Try it sometime. Something other than join a Union company. The Union guys evidently do not know where that frieght comes from for them to make there $20 or more per hour. I have seen you internet expert type before and only hope people are not taking your advise and making career decisions on it. You said this is not Cheers and a place to shoot the #### but that is all anyone is doing.

You bash every company but there is a post on here of a new driver at Maverick and he had 2 accidents in I believe less than 6 months. So I think it is the person and not the company. I realize no one can tell you anything, so keep it up internet trucker while the rest of the world gets a life.

I'm fairly certain the majority of posts about C.R. England on this forum, or any online forum would be negative.
When it is one person bad mouthing a company, maybe it is sour grapes. But when you have hundreds if not thousands all saying the same bad things about a company, common sense tells you to be wary of that company.
More than one person on this forum has said they same things you are, namely, "its not so bad, you people are just whiners" only to come back and post that in fact, the majority was right and CRE does suck.

There are plenty of good outfits out there, and I've claimed that here

Actually, if you read all my posts and not just a select few, you'd see that at times, I indeed do push certain outfits. Let me repeat myself here, as some new guys have shown up since the last time I posted this advice...

Any outfit that is listed in a phone book that doesn't advertise in papers and magazines is one that's worth looking into. Crete and Roehl are two I push regularly, as I've read lots of positive testimonies about both, not to mention I worked for Crete once. I know CCC is a good outfit. An outfit that must advertise constantly for help is one you want to stay away from.

I bash most outfits we read about here because those outfits are the best at drawing in new hires, thanks to their slick marketing. Somebody has to balance the lies these companies tell by moving to the front and telling the truth. If that appears to be 'bashing', then I guess I'm a basher for life.

I'm a guy who doesn't back down and doesn't let up, kapisch?
