Stevens Drivers.... Talk to Me!

Hey there -

Stevens has come into my list of possible companies to drive for. Now I know that I have heard a lot of negatives from drivers that were apparently wronged by the company, for whatever reason. But I am interested in hearing from current drivers (or their spouses) regarding the company, miles, cpm, and overall work conditions.

I am going to be making a decision within the next few weeks, so any information I can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It's like everything else... people tend to accentuate the negative. Remember the crap going around the day room about your next PCS duty assignment? Some folks love the place, some folks think it's total hell. It's the same with trucking companies.

If you need training, Prime still is accepting non-CDL trainees. BTW, I'm a driver - not a recruiter.

Stevens-Might as well try Swift!

I am a VERY RECENT ex-employee of Stevens, and it's just a CDL mill. If you have experience, you could make more elsewhere-and it's a really unpleasant company to work for.

My 2 cents-YMMV
