I'm sure you'll make your own decision, but make sure you read all of the feedback on this and other boards before you do. I fell for the Stevens scam-and I'd have to reccommend STRONGLY that no one else sign up until the comppany gets its act together.

My 2 cents, YMMV.

i just can't believe that people enter into these financial training contracts without reading them or getting a copy of it. You leave Stevens you're on the hook for that money simple as that.

Go to their website and look at the on-line application and read fine print in regards to arbritration. It's all in their favor. Get your training at a community college or a PDTI certified school.

Well you may have been saved from stevens....i started there as a student then ended up in the office as a training fleet manager for the newbies. Let me tell you a little bit about them....they dangle you on a fishing line watching you squirm and then when they are are done with you usually for now reason but they make one up...they cut you line cutting off your comdata card. Its hard to explain how it works cause they have this game down...do you really think everyone they recruit gets a truck nope! But by now they have there check from the government and don't give a crap about you!! Trust me seen it done it!! (only cause it was my job...sorry guys and gals...i did quit does that count?...) anyway try covenant i did work for them stayed fairly happy they take students...
