They showcased that road on Discovery or similar channel not too long ago.. All I can say is the guys who drive that road have bigger brass ones than I do!

You will notice that there are NO 18 wheelers. I think we as a group are a lot smarter that to drive that highway. But there will always be a couple who would try it and die doing it..

there are a lot of roads down south like this. usually in more rural areas and are short cuts to places. there are better roads that are less dangerous but people still drive these short cuts.

a good example of a road like this in the united states would be the old state road nineteen in west virginia. it can still be seen and used as you drive on the new state road nineteen.
