After looking into their requirements(intimidating to say the least) I had some questions.

What at does the physical consist of? How physically demanding is the job? What does a post offer dexterity test mean? Do they hair test? I have the X endorsement do I have to take a different test for the HM endorsement? Pet policy? I have passport, but not TWIC, still able to be hired? Any info on the chicopee, MA terminal. Thank you.

If they will let you wait on the TWIC. Superior will pay for it. They also pay for my hazmat renewal background check. Springfield seems like a decent terminal. Had a PM done on my truck there once so I assume they still have a shop that can work on the trucks. Not all terminals do. That's a plus since they can fix things on your home time.

    RogerThat72 and mxpx148 Thank this.

X endorsement is Tanker + Hazmat

Dexterity test is done by third party, they hook up a heart monitor and you do physical tasks like lifting weights. Heart rate is based on your age, go above and you are done until you can get the heart rate down. It's easy and doesnt take long. Best to do drug test, physical, dexterity test all on the same day if possible so as not to drag things out.

Springfield isn't a bad terminal at all, usually busy there. I live in Maine (Auburn terminal) so I occasionally pop in over there when running system.

Do any of you guys have a link to the video for that dexterity test? Looked around superior's website and couldn't find anything.

I couldn't find the video, but I took the dexterity test recently. You do a step up & down test, then lifting & carrying weights, climbing, crouching, pushing/pulling, & balance. All these movements mimic what you would do around the truck & trailer. Really easy stuff.

Appreciate that update, I am scheduled Wednesday next week to take mine. Should pass with flying colors since I do all of those moves now. Hopefully you didn't fall off the balance beam lol. What did they do with you after passing the dex test?

Just wanted to add for my dexterity test they used a 2x6 about 10 foot in length. Walk down and back, forwards and backwards, pretty simple. Also for my situation the process was slower, start to finish was 4 months.
