As the way it should be.
When the truck number is achieved or the company where you work is known, then identity can be established things can happen.

It is that very reason I'm as vague as I am about who I am and what it is I do. It is also important to note (I personally don't care if people believe me) that I am not any more "pro Gainey" than ANY other company. I origionally posted here because drivers were making statements about their chapter 11 proceedings and the state of their company that was obvious they didnt know or care about the truth. My intention wasnt to make anyone feel like they were being slighted. But as soon as people thought I worked for the company... watch out!
-
Well, when someone titles their occupation as trucking industry and seems to know a great deal about a company and always speaks in their interest and all of their posts are only on that companies thread,
I guess you would see the picture painted on your behalf. -
I can understand that. However, I also wouldn't want to talk about something I DONT know about, or the company I DO work for now... would I?
-
You never know on here. -

To put your mind at ease,
I do not work for Gainey.
I do not recall ever talking to a Gainey driver in person.
I have met a couple on here, but do not remember who they were. -
That's okay, I wasn't worried. I'm not for or against Gainey. They are a company just like ANY other trying to stay afloat in a bad economy. My origional reasons for posting were just to enlighten people on their chapter eleven filings.
An extra note... anything I've said is posted across the web for anyone to find. You don't have to be an insider to know what I've discussed. -
I just thought it was odd that you dont work there but put alot of effort in defending them or enlightening people as to the state the company is in. Guess you could see where someone would think your an insider.
As for hiding behind an identity, im not hiding, ill tell you anything you want to know, just have to ask. -
That's alright... I wouldnt ask for anything I wouldnt volunteer myself. As roadmedic stated... it's best to be "hidden" in forums such as these.
