Swift Select Dedicated Location in PA

    I was looking at the Swift terminal locations on SwiftTrans.com and I noticed they have a bunch of Select Dedicated Locations listed in addition to the Swift Terminals. Can anyone tell me what Select Dedicated Locations are? I'm guessing they are account specific locations that swift is allowed to park trucks at for that account, but I could be way off. I'm mainly interested in the one in North East PA near Scranton. I've been thinking about getting back into trucking and if Swift has an account running near me I'd like to know more about it. Thanks.

    Thanks. I don't think that's the location I was referring to, or at least I hope it isn't. Chambersburg is south of the Jonestown Swift Terminal so I think the blue dot below Jonestown refers to the Chambersburg Target DC. I'm wondering what the dot northeast of Jonestown is. It looks like it falls near Scranton, PA or Mehoopany, PA. It's good to know Swift runs Target dedicated at least, that seems like an okay account to run.

    There's a Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany I've delivered to a time or two. I don't think we have a dedicated account there, but I could be wrong. I do know for sure we have a dedicated with the Sears DC in Wilkes Barre. They're not very busy right now, though, and probably aren't looking for new drivers. I also know of a dedicated account at Quaker Oats in Mountain Top. Not sure if they need new drivers or not.

    I'm resurrecting an old thread cause I can add something to it.My son is on dedicated P@G regional.Most of his pickups are from Tunkhannock Pa;but he did one PU from Mehoopany P@G,I guess cause he was in the area,sometimes he gets loads out of Conn. but mostly ends back at Tunkhannock for PU.
    He's happy with them, in the 4 weeks he's driven so far,good miles and home once a week for resets.

    Near Scranton I know we ave an onsite office at the Sears DC in Wilkes-Barre, also a pretty big account at Gatorade in Mountain Top.
