Yep, it will get to Phoenix at least 10 hours before you could get it there. Once it leaves Lancaster it won;t stop until it reaches Phoenix. One driver will take it to Colorado City Tx, another to Van Horn, another to Lordsburg NM I believe, then the last driver will get it to Phoenix.

More than I have after sitting 3 days. Here in Rock Springs, WY. Finally sent a pplan at 1700 last night, and it was the same one that they sent me Saturday night and reoved. It sure would have been nice if the planners actually thought and sent it to me earlier. Could have gotten there yesterday afternoon, Idaho Falls. What a long 200 mile drive from Bozeman to Idaho falls through Yellowstone in the wee hours of morning. Going to try and get this load t-called back to me around lexington, NE. At least then I will end up with about 1800 miles for the week, at least not in the hole.

    Hope you get through.
The weather gets better the further north you go.

I'm in SD now, and heading up to MN for my next load.

home depot in dallas. went to hook up to my load and they loaded a wrong trailer, one thats not to leave the state, a penske trlr. so here i sit waiting for them to reload a swift trlr and redispatch the load with new times and seals.. im growing impatient here.
i feel like asking to get this load off me and take whatever comes my way.. ive got to make 500mi no less tonight to do both deliveries tomorrow, that and im watching the weather reports on okc, ks, and ia all are talking of closed roads and whatnot.. not looking forward to night snow, ice driving tonight..

Finished my run down here in the deep sowph. Nice light load, following winds and chased the rain ahead all the way, nice sunny and cool breeze now.

You may recall, I got live loaded, sent loaded call, received and updated, all good, started making miles then boom they are asking me to stop, turn around in the big city on rush hour Friday afternoon to go to another stop which was not listed on the preplan. Key words, they asked "please" and "if you wish" to pick it up". I called in and was told my loaded call went through, no other stops, good to go. Some time later the extra stop was all of a sudden "Assigned" with early and late arrival times for pickup. To me that sounds an awful lot like forced dispatch plus I was already hundreds of miles away by then. It all culminated at the final when I tried to empty call, system says "not arrived at stop yet". Big mess getting that alal straightened out plus huge helpings of guilt trip, harassment and finger pointing from the DM about it. Hey I was contracted to pick up the load and deliver it per the preplan, don't go springin' extra stops on me when my loaded call is already processed and I'm stepping out of the big city full steam ahead.

Elk Spring, NE. Awoke this morning, and thought that I was going to have a great day, nice tailwind. Well, that lasted until Laramie, and then it went to crap, until past Cheyene. Still was able to get my MPG up from 6.1 to 7.0 right now.
