I dunno :smt102 ... I've never sat in Houston ... In Corrine. 3 days late coming off of home time as the dealer had to order a part. Dropped this here and getting NLO ... well I did turn down a 2 day 3 drop going to Denver ... figure I will have better luck here tomorrow, plus give that storm more time to move away from me

 

Several trucks plowed past me before I stopped.
I wonder how many of those will be in the ditch before they decide to stop.

Finally heard from KW, and I guess that the best that I can hope for is Wednesday. they had to order a part, and depending on the weather tonight and early morning, it will decide if the part arrives tomorrow. Turns out that need aftertreatment catalyst converter. They do not know why it was not fixed the first time. My DM has talked to both the FM and TM and see what can do to help. They know that I am now at my breaking point. If I would have know the extent of the issues on Friday, I could have rented a car and gone home, and saved almost $250.

Been home for a little over a week for my son's spring break from school. Went to get fuel this morning knowing there will be 38 to 48 hours before getting my next load. Discovered that Swift turned off my fuel card. Rapid Response says it is now policy to turn off the fuel card when the driver goes on home time. HUH?

 

Huh, and when did this happen. Was there any notice of this. I thought that it was our truck, our fuel. It might have been that it is turned off when home when not under a load, and that as soon as pplaned and going to pu load, then it is automatically turned back on again. I know that when I come off home time and need to get fuel to get to my pick up point, my card has worked.

Scottie, why would you try and get fuel before you even got a load. I would think that if you think that you are not going to get a dispatch until Wednesday, you would want to wait for the beginning of the new pay week, and that you are dispatched.

 

If your home for extended period it gets turned off for security I suppose
