    Priority One Warehouse in Montebello.
My route is 15 S to the 210 to 605.
The Swift directions are from I 5, so I'll just use the GPS.

I agree that stopping early and getting an early start is probably best. I'd be fighting traffic all the way if I tried to get most of the way by tomorrow night.
It'll use up more of my 11/14 for that day, but I'll save a lot of time overall on my 70 I think.

It's just trying to allow enough time, without getting there too early.
Certain loads just seem like a recipe for a service failure - especially when delivering a JIT load to the L.A. area during rush hour.
I'm glad for the new service failure policy. It allows us a bit more leeway, and I'm still at 98.63%.

im lucky im still at 100% for now but had some extremely close calls

that warehouse sounds familiar, I know I have been to Montebello a couple times, that 15 to 210 is really bad traffic after 6am. Thats the route I took not long ago where I had to be there by 9 and left at 6 in Mira Loma and got there right before 9. I have seen some trucks in pull out areas along the route, an option if you wanted to do that, I didnt keep track of exit numbers and stuff though but maybe pulling up Google maps it might show them. It just sucks driving in the LA areas since there is nowhere to park a truck and these cities dont want you parked on their streets which half the time arent big enough anyway.

I always dread coming to California since I know they will be sending me to the LA areas and then half the time tcall it in Mira Loma and then give me something to the bay area, hate those 2 areas of CA. I am starting to hate the Denver, CO area too, traffic has been horrible the last couple times I have been there.

Whats new about the failure policy?

I talked with Matt yesterday for awhile and asked if I could get a load going through home that had extra time on it "company policy you cannot take a trailer through home bla bla" he however told me I could get a load to Lancaster at the Michaels DC, tell the planners im doing a 34 and then bobtail to my home for the 34 without telling them im going home, what I do during my 34 is not there concern. He said it was only like a 40 mile difference so if I keep quiet it wouldnt be an issue when and if I decide to do it.

    Well, I'm in Primm.
I'll leave at 0230 and hope for the best.

About 7 miles north of Primm traffic slowed to 5-10 mph. It took 45 minutes to go that far.
And I doubt it gets much better, at least to the AG check station.
    Best to just stay here.
