    Flying to China this weekend.

    Hello everyone,

    Yes, I am heading for China on Saturday. My wife is having her Visa interview next week. After 5.5 years of dealing with the government we are looking for a good outcome.

    If there is any interest, I would like to keep a diary here. I will be including photographs of some of the different areas. I will be in Guangzhou and also Shamian Island there. A google search will show alot of pics from Shamian Island. It is mostly all done in the old style of Victorian. More than willing to answer questions. Better than what you might see on the news. Again, if there is any real interest. This should be a first for not just Swift, but this whole forum.

    Yes, and quite married, in fact, she has 2 younger. On the right is my wife, and my step daughter on the left, and also now married.

    Enjoy your trip! My daughter is a Fulbright Scholar in China working on childhood nutrition in remote villages. She loves the Chinese people, as I do vicariously through her.
