Personally I prefer El Paso and IGH. If not then either KW or Cummins. As far as minor, either T/A or Petro, like B service. PHX touched my truck one time, pulled it out of the shop, torrential down pour that night and they left my windows open. Flooded out the whole inside of the truck.

The last time I had work done at Salt Lake they left my windows open as well.
It had rained, but luckily not that hard.

How's it going? I was looking into it when I was at Swift, it made sense to me as a mentor but not solo and never to my wife, a guy came on the Schneider forum and let me know about where I went owner operator at and am now. I am netting what swift owners would like to gross if not for the over mileage charges, running solo, with no maintenance costs on truck or trailer. Message me if anyone wants to make $$.

Like I said .. are you netting over $4K a week? ... Give us your PnL for a week .. and how long have you been there ... freight is running hot right now, but what about the slow months.

i sometimes try not to listen to the negative things that people post in here but sometimes you guys are right. ive been an owner op for 3 months now and when I asked was anything wrong with this truck before I took over the lease the company said everything was fine. ive taken it to 3 swift shops where they said all it needed was alignment but they didn't have the tools to do the work. took it to a ta yesterday and found out that the king pins in the suspension was worn out from probably being in a previous accident. looking at almost $2,500 in repairs. would anybody happen to know if this is covered under the warranty????

Nope, you'll have to fight Swift to make it right.

Don't Swift L/P owners have the option to not use Swift shops? If so I would avoid them whenever possible and establish a relationship with a good mechanic. I would do an oil analysis at every oil change. I would dyno test it. Swift doesn't do either of those. I'm not impressed with the level of expertise at Swift shops, nor their 70% philosophy (if it runs and is 70% okay then get it out the door).
