well that part I really don't know because I just got on with swift just waiting to head out 4 the training part since I already have my class a

the 13 speeds are nice, the mentor I had has a 780 volvo with the 13 speed, its 9 speed but has the extra lever to convert it, was nice using just the switch on hills
-
so it depends on what truck the mentor is driving right???????
-
yes and no, there are mentors who are company drivers too, some owner ops have certain preferences in the gears and stuff. Your norm will probably be 9 or 10 speed, possibly a 13 depending on the mentor.
Dont stress so much on the amount of gears, its not hard to learn a new transmission. I was able to go from the 9 and 13 easily. Never driven the 18 but im curious and want to try it.K-DUB1986 Thanks this. -
