Well a little bit about me, I have 10 years in the Navy and now I work as a Army contractor working on MRAP's in Afghanistan, but my contract ends in December and I was planning on becoming a truck driver. I am looking at Swift since the Richmond VA school is a hour away from me. Now my question is will Swift consider me with this MVR

The last two tickets on your MVR do not look good. I would wait until the last ticket you got is over 3 yrs old. Most companies will frown over 2 serious violations even though you have a regular driver s license. Not to mention 7 points on your license do not look good either in the eyes of the insurance companies either.

No offense but I wouldn't hire you to drive a cargo van, let alone a 80,000 pound truck. Your record indicates lack of self control and impulsive driving habits.

I know #### happens sometimes but not on a regular basis like that

you have 3 major moving violations on your record, it will be hard to find a company that will hire you with one on your record, and you have 3.

Shouldn't the one from 2006 have fallen off your record by now? That was 7 years ago, the 2006 one shouldn't even show up any more I would think.

Insurance companies wont cover anyone with a speeding of 14 and over, you have a 16 and over. Bottom line, your going to have to wait till they drop off. Good Luck.
