    Question... (Clueless Central driver here)

If we have a load that originates in CA and goes to GA, do we get the 'west coast FSC' rebate? Or is it if the whole load stays in the west coast area?

The whole load must seat within the 11 state region

No, the load only has to originate in CA, OR, WA, NV or AZ. I've always been paid the WCS on all my loads out those states.

Now if you pick up a tcall, it defaults to where the load actually originated at. Pick up a load that came out of Mexico and there will be no WCS

Unless Central is on a different FSC program, there's been no WCS for the past 2 weeks.

Thank you! How can you tell if/when there is a WCS if it's not on your settlement?

Sorry to interrupt...but has Central been merged into Swift? I heard (read about) rumors of one of the SLC terminals being purchased by Prime and can't find any info anywhere. Just asking first hand folks instead of going on rumor mill gossip.

If the load qualifies for West Coast fuel it's listed on a separate line from the regular fuel rebate.
Swift O/Os get a weekly message stating that week's fuel rebate AND west coast if there is any.

    Lady K Thanks this.

Swift now owns Central. I thought it was only the refrigerated division but judging from the Central dry van trailers clogging up the PHX terminal I suspect it's the whole shebang.

Lock, stock and barrel! A few of our (Central's) terminals will stay open, and some of the other personnel is being utilized... But everything is under the Swift umbrella.
