Limon CO, trainee just got level 3'd. He was nervous and shaking, but I got him to calm down before we went into the office.
Btw they were pulling every swift eastbound on 70 I to the scales for level 3, and Hugo Co had 3 swifties pulled over on 287.

I've been pulled in there a few times, but they only wanted to check my papers.
I wonder why the sudden interest. Did Swift do something bad?
I'm glad I just got everything fixed on my truck, in any case. -

Here at the Flying J in Cheyenne. Showed up to drop at Wally World and was told 3 days early. They tried to get approval to drop and person was not answering phone or returning calls so turned away. They can only accept 2 days. Our csr says the 26th. Theirs says the 29th. Who do you think will win this battle. Had to cancel my pplan and repower. Now my DM is trying to make sure that I do not get a service failure for not being able to pick up next load. They are looking at the time that I arrived at Wally World and if had enough time to get to pick up next load. Yes. I did.
Well things changed. Received a message from CSR, now they will take the delivery so back over I went and they did. Then MAC 30 and get 2 offers, can loads out of Windsor, one picking up at 1300 tomorrow and the other at 1900 and both delivering o Wednesday morning. Not jumping on either. Not enough miles for almost 3 days. All of 716 miles.
Today before leaving out of Grand Island was looking at fuel book for some fuel and showed Big Springs at $2.55 at the flying J. Got there and posted price, $2.75/gal. Looked at fuel book and they were showing $2.69. Across the street was still $2.55. Now fuel book is showing $2.75.Last edited: Apr 26, 2015

*my planner is great, no complaints whatsoever. -
Colby, KS. Well those can loads started to pop back up for morning and was trying to get a answer about early delivery. Could not get a answer on that but was told that could not t-call. So finally I get a can load out of Golden, 100 miles mt and deliver to Edwardsville for a t-call. A whopping 600 miles. Can not do a MAC 30 since it says that my PTA is before my delivery date. Now going to try and sneak in a short one for Wednesday. My DM tried to send me a pplan and said that it was a little on the heavy side. Yeah, 44700, going from Joplin to PHX. Already pushed out my home time because just know what will happen with a Saturday home time. Now the worst of today, after I get this plan and accept it, I get a offer from Command. A nice 22k load going from Cheyenne to Laredo, 1157 miles, deliver on Wednesday and paid $1400. Swift would not let me out of this plan. If only would have gotten that offer 5 mins earlier.
Wow, already a pplan out of Edwardsville. Pick up a MOM load going to Laredo for Thursday morning. And then a load home. Will actually end up with almost 2500 miles for next week after only 2300 this week.Last edited: Apr 27, 2015

I left Edwardsville this morning to make my first stop in KC, then I was able to give my DM an ETA for the final in Oswego, IL. Final is 520 miles from the first stop and the CSR scheduled it for 18 hours after the first stop. So now I sit and wait at the Iowa 80 to see if they got it rescheduled.

Sitting in the "dock" waiting for a live unload in Meridien, ID. The appointment was scheduled for tomorrow morning at 07:00, but I called the customer and he appreciated having me deliver the load this afternoon.
After calling the customer I got on the horn with my DM to update my PTA (as my wheels were turning) and soon after that received a load offer. That's the good news. The bad news is it's a live load tomorrow at noon with a live unload in Stockton on the 1st. Too much time for a 577 mile load. I'll try the same routine and see if I can get in early.
No matter what I do need to get laundry done.
Meanwhile, yesterday I turned down the job offer to go work in OKC in the oil fields. As I'm sitting in the dock a while ago I got another call from them, sweetening the offer, with more extensive training in load securement and higher percentage (they pay a percentage of the loads). This is starting to get very tempting and I'll need to have a serious discussion with my wife.Cjh_army, Buckeye91, Kindle and 1 other person Thank this.
