Im from madison county thirty min away from asheville, but noone knows where that is for the most part. I just noticed thats the area you are from as well, which part? If you have any questions let me know I finished the school part this week still have to get cdl tuesday. If something happens and dont get them on first try will be here another week, but that shouldnt happen.

Hey everybodie just wanted to check in and let everybodie know how it is going. I am at the end of my first week, so far i have passed all my in class test and my backing test. we are moving fast and you have to pay attention.my class started out with 21 students and now only 10 remain. the instructers are really great, and will help you in anyway, so if you are planing to come out here please be ready to work, study, and test.

I get on my bus tonight headed to Lewiston! I'm just curious how do 11 people fail in the first week? Like what kinds of things happened?

#1 reason: Failing the drug test.

#2 reason: Not taking the schooling seriously. We had several get tossed out of Academy because they thought that simply paying their tuition meant they get their CDL at the end.

Don't fear failing. Put in the effort, and you will succeed. Go in with the attitude that this is a three week long job interview, because that's exactly what it is. Don't expect to coast through it. If you are seriously putting in the effort, the instructors are more than willing to help you. We had one guy that was having a heck of a time with his backing. For several hours over a couple nights, he had one-on-one instruction after the rest of us had gone for the day. He finally got it, and passed his test the first time.

A lot of people don't have there proper license and permit. You will be fine just make sure you study your maps and you logs. Then as long as you can pass a straight line back you'll be fine.
