Console gaming, internet access and power sources.

Okay a few things here: 1) Is it possible to get an internet connection at any of the truck stops (paid) with a gaming console? I know typically you have to access their page to login to get your connection. But has anyone managed to do it on a console system? 2) As a company driver I know they say it is against regs to install an inverter, but is there any other way I can keep my truck from powering down on me when I'm using either just the electric or my opti idle? It gets frustrating when the truck powers down then restarts to keep charging the battery while I'm playing a game, I already save often, but gets tiring having to go and repeat parts of the game.

 

How much do they run, how long do they last and do they recharge? Would need to run both my TV and 360 from it.

 

So basically use this to bridge the time during the truck powering back up when it resets everything, not to just play from?

 

Mainly I use the WiFi to download my games or add ons, not for actual gaming as I know the signals are horrendous.

 

It depends, I usually force it to restart by turning all the interior lights on etc.

 

Yes I make sure to get enough rest. I only go on marathons if I have to do a 34.
