syrup is water soluble. you can soak a few paper towels and smudge it up then pour some straight water on it and sit on a towel for a the next day's driving. Once you get it cleaned up might consider buying some seat covers and slipping them over the seats.

I use a bissel steam carpet cleaner it has an small attachment like for doing stairs ect it works well , it takes a bit to dry when done , speaking of that , I think I am going to buy some seat "covers" so they will catch the spills , and dirt then I could just take them off and through em in washing machine ,

just use some dawn dish detergent, apply right to spot rub in and then soak up with a towel. repeat if needed. it will also get rid of the smell. might as well do yhe whole seat.

Likely will have to do the whole seat, if you do one spot. Good idea on Dawn, it takes out a whole lot of different things.

Ah yes ,where would the world be without Dawn. If it works on animals after an oil spill, it will work on seat covers. Thank you Proctor & Gamble. (although, I'm not crazy about that "Gamble" part, it might and it might not work)
