Well, as you point out... It is a witch hunt. And what's the fun in that if they don't get to burn a witch once in a while?

As a wannabe/newbie I was going to add Swift to my list for application. Now after reading this thread, I don't think so. forward/rear and side looking ok but not in-cab at me.

    Scott101 Thanks this.

A lot of hyperbole in this thread ... Swift tests technology all the time ... most of it doesn't wind up in the fleet. Swift is doing some testing on forward looking cams ... that's it nothing more.

There's a lot of intrusive technology that has been out there for years that Swift tested and decided no.

Along with companies like US Express and Wal-Mart. Remember when I was working for US Express and they were testing to device on the front bumper that would automatically slow you down when someone passed you and came over too soon. It would slow you down an kick on the Jakes. Only problem, it also did this when snow on the road.

You are aware that driver facing cameras have been upheld in several states. Oh, and your state, if that is true, of Texas as well as Colorado also allow them. I know of at least two fleets in Co. running them, and a friend just went to work for trash hauler in So. Texas that has them in all their trucks.

    Oh look, California

Again, which college did you receive your law degree from, and which states are you licensed to practice in, please list the specific bar assoc. that you are part of, since you're giving out legal advice.

Unless you have an employment contract, you are an at will employee driving a company owned piece of equipment, which the employer has the legal right to do as they please with, so long as they, as owner of the vehicle do not violate the law.
