Call tech support and ask. They should be able to figure it out easily.

Watts Divided by volts equals amps

    Amps times volts equals watts.

So, 150 watts divided by 120 volts is 1.25 amps

    Or something like that...

I have the Loves 400 watt that will run PS4 via CIG lighter plug, but only with truck running.

That 400W can only draw 150W when in a 12V socket.
And if you need the truck running to get it, it means that it is very close to the limit.

Ya it's amps × volt = watt. 120 volt appliance only tell you the amp. So 4 amp X 120 volt = 480 watt

    Scott101 Thanks this.

Like i said. . Did the math and PS4 runs 150 watt max.. so he is drawing the max from a cig lighter. Your exactly right

So it can be done, barely.
It is pushing the limit though.

The PS4 should only be run through the front, especially in a Volvo. The sleeper plugs don't seem to have enough voltage to power even my laptop consistently, unless the truck is running.
The dash plugs always work fine, however.

I didn't seem to have the same problem in the ProStar or Cascadia.

Watch out for inverters. The have what is called the efficiency factor. All inverters take power to make power. If a 400 watt inverter is only 80% efficient then it's only good for 320 watts. The more money you pay for an inverter the more efficient it usually is.
