Why cant we fuel at Flying J & Pilot's?

Pricing might have alot to do with their choice of fuel places.
The price you see on the sign is not what your company may be paying..

 

Because if you fuel at the flying J or Pilot your truck will break because of their fuel, happened to trucks fueling in Van Ormany,TX last week

 

Two reasons I've been told...they got ripped off for millions in the scandal..and.. Their fuel is clogging our fuel filters

i don't care where I get fuel as long as the authorization is good. Swinging into a Loves along the way to scan paperwork only takes a few minutes. I plan my DEF purchases so I always get it at the pump. I don't mess around with the terminal BS.

 

One good thing that came out of it, since Swift has been banned from Pilot J it has opened up a lot more parking for the rest of us lol

 

You can have Pilots and Flyin Hooks, I'd much rather fuel at Petro/TA. I wish more company's did!

 

I like fueling at ta/ petro 70% no wait time at fuel island.
Unlike peelots/ flying j which a lot of times you sit and wait in fuel islands

 

Move on to a company that doesn't micro manage your fuel stops. When I was there they liked me to stop "here or there" and pick up 50 gallons per stop. F' that - your already poorly paid, so why "donate your time" to that pathetic business model?

 

Its been a long time since I seen a fuel route only 50 gals.
70% it says fill up

 

BINGO! Fuel Route? Do you really lack the skills to know how to strategically fuel? I for one will not be micromanaged, and therefore can command higher wages because of it. Swift does not want you to think for yourself and therefore will only pay you a minimum due to the fact that someone else is needed to think for you. In the grand scheme of the world - this is not bad - it creates more jobs! But wouldn't you rather be with a company that encourages you to run profitably and rewards you for self management?
