a 2015 t660 is gonna cost you $153,000 a 2015 Volvo 780 is gonna cost you $165,000... As for leasing I have no idea which company your looking at to lease a truck or if they even have these types for lease... Most of what I just put down is for O/O spec trucks.

I apologize for the long awaited reply. I'm surprised someone else hasn't beat me to this.

At last check they were only leasing the T680's and cascadias this year if you are looking for brand new trucks, but that may have changed. I know when I was looking for my second truck to add to my (small) fleet earlier this year they were really short on new trucks and mostly had used trucks.

The payment structure on new trucks is $575/week no matter which truck, the balloon payments at the end of lease however do vary from truck to truck.

Your best bet to get all your questions answered is to call a lease recruiter ( I prefer Michelle Cantrell out of Greer, SC). Michelle is pretty straightforward and is not like a typical recruiter who will sell you lies to get you in a truck. She can tell you what trucks are available and where. And if you are feeling generous and want to use me as a referral you can PM me for my info ;)

if you have any more questions I will be glad to answer them. I have been extremely busy lately and just recently started posting regularly again so I should be fairly quick to answer.

Oh and I cannot find my info on the new pay package right now, but I'm pretty sure mystic is on it and can tell you the details. I looked over it and it is not worth it for me because I run zero empty miles on the dedicated account I'm on. I elected to stay on the old package but I did run some models and it looks like if you run around 6-7% or more empty miles then it is worth it. The mt miles pay increased and they added FSC to the mt miles but decreased the FSC rate slightly, so in short if you run a lot of mt miles (6-7% or more) it is worth it.

I'm driving a company T-680 now and love it. Very stable in slick conditions, better than a Cascadia. Overall mpg is averaging 7.8 with idle averaging around 4%.

It's easy to drive, great for mentoring. It would be even better if you can get the studio.

I know a guy that went to a dealer in Dallas and put $1,000 down and paying $1,000 a month. It is not a new truck but sure beats $550 to $850 a week which is what it is for lease plus another guy got his paid off in 2 1/2 years buying at dealer. I don't want to do either right now because I am still new to this but have always asked others and my uncles and dad who are drivers.

    allisonisatranny Thanks this.
