Would be there if it is equipped. I think it might only have it if equipped with the electric "apu". You tell the Prostars that have it , they will have grill on the right side of the sleeper, where the side box would be.

OK, thanks. This truck doesn't have that junk in the passenger side box, so It's just a switch I can ignore.

You must only have the heater. I had a Prostar at Indian River that had it, was kind of nice.

Yup, Webasto heater. I have had those in trucks I have had before. Makes the cab REALLY TOASTY if you leave it on high for very long! :biggrin_2551:

The Wabasto heater? Should be a dial on the sleeper control panel. Runs on battery power and diesel.

I was gettin a pm in Va the other day n guy told me I had one n showed me the flex tubing for the exhaust and said the metal box under bunk was part of it, but none of these dials do anything! I guess I'll have to take it to my regular mechanic and see what he says...

Go to a dealer and get the body control module update. Its the 99% of the time fix. Talk nice and they might do it freebie in the service drive.

No. Swift trucks don't have the autostart feature. No APU. At least not in the 2011 Prostar. In case you're wondering what those switches are, left to right, top to bottom:
    mirror heater
    sleeper temperature
    sleeper fan
    Jake Brake 3 settings
    fog lights
off road locks axles side to side
positive differential lock locks front and rear diff
    suspension air bags dump
    5th wheel slide release
    parked regen

You bought an excellent truck. I have the same and the lifetime average fuel mileage at 457k is 7.7mpg hauling an average weight of 36k. I've never had to do a parked regen and one way to prevent problems is to change the crankcase filter under the finned cover on the upper left front of the engine every 50k miles. I leased mine with 26 months remaining on the original lease and 159k miles. I've paid off the lease and have bought the truck.

Feel free to pm if you have any other questions.
