With DG just be ready for a lot more hands on work, how many miles do you average with the Walmart right now? Also are these the only dedi accounts in FL that Swift does? I know Rite Aid pays well if they have the account in that area, Target which im part of on the West coast is decent too.

I've been averaging 1,000 a week, hence my frustration. Even at .38 and $10 for every stop after the first, I haven't made more that $450 a week. And DG & Walmart are the only ones I know of.

My next paycheck is $312. Freaking garbage.

ouch yeah thats pretty bad especially for a dedicated, I always thought Walmart had a guaranteed pay of like $150 a day but I guess thats more of a surge thing. If your willing to work hard then you might make a lot more doing the DG but your hand unloading entire trailers which is something I wouldnt be able to handle myself to be honest and they have a lot of turnover for DG accounts. Do you have a family at home your trying to stay close to? You can do much better OTR now especially with the increased rates, I stay dedicated since I have 2 small girls at home but I also average about 2500 miles a week with Target for 5 days a week.

Well who should I speak with about going over the road again? I came from another carrier to this account and I'm not sure entirely who I should speak to.

Not sure how long you have been driving besides what your profile says but there might be some local companies close to you that you can always consider, if you seek out chinatown they normally know about every company in the world it seems lol.
