I know there's a SE regional Georgia Pacific account. I talked to a girl running that and she liked it. I think it's run out of Memphis. Not sure what other dedicated accounts there are in SE, maybe Walmart? You could also just pick SE as your "comfort zone" which maybe would keep you SE most of the time. Never did it is why I say maybe. Greer, SC has some local work out of their terminal but I don't know how much. Charlotte,NC and Charleston,SC both have local work but no terminal. You work out of drop yards. You can take the truck home which is nice. So yep there are opportunities in NC.

I don't smoke anymore I haven't smoked in 8 months for the fact of this job profession. I just know hair follicles can date back a year for drug use.

I was told they do not do comfort zone, and when I first started they jumped wanting us to do Dollar Tree but when we asked about anything else they said they did not need anyone for other accounts. I came to Swift because they said they had all of that and that is what I wanted because I have four kids at home and NEVER wanted to be OTR, but now I'm stuck either doing whatever they want or start over again somewhere else, so, yeah I have a bad attitude toward how they do some. I'm happy for everyone I see who do good here because there are a lot who do but to sit here and say some can't cut it is BS, if someone does not stay nobody else knows what the reasoning behind it is, I could be happy too if I could have a dedicated account where I could see home on weekends but that was not an option for me and I even asked for Dollar Tree again after they said no about the others. I may stick it out longer and see but right now I am disappointed because it is nothing like I was expecting.

Only came back to this thread bc someone liked one of my comments.

Lol at all you fools. To the moron that said I do LTL work in Seatac? Nope.. I do all of WA, OR, Montana and Idaho. You know little about can hauling out of WA, lmao. Shoot, most of those LTL dudes make more than you and even can haulers that run 150mi around Seattle so I wouldn't talk.

And I don't know why you guys are labeling me as a "super trucker" bc I said I'll pass you? Sht, I'll pass you going 63. I'm the last dude speeding so.. quit that noise.

My point: Good for all of you making "good" wages at Swift. Who can't make it at Swift...? I mean, it's a starter company. Only a lazy #### that doesn't want to work fails at Swift or a sucky driver.

I'll enjoy my home every weekend (possibly home every night if I feel like) and easily make as much/more than you weekly, monthly, yearly and not having to hit X amount of miles a week. I'm not looking for who has a bigger dick battle but... that's what it's all about at the end of the day, $$$.

We all want to make more/work less and move up the ladder from there which is the position I'm in, and wouldn't mind putting you guys on but... seem like you guys wanna hold purty ol' Swift close to your hearts, getting your panties in a bunch. Keep 'em turnin', ladies.
