Can somebody please tell me how much their fuel rebate is this week?
There are two contracts, I am on the new one. I'd like to see comparison.
For the week of 1/19 to 1/26.....my rate is .086 per mile.

The legacy should be around $.28 ... average fuel price is down to $2.93 ... dropped $.12 last week. Shop your fuel, I've been paying in the $2.40-$2.70 range ... I hear what you're saying, my gross revenue per mile is down, but my net is consistent.

I've had an issue for months to not get shuffled out of areas where I can get cheap fuel prices. 40-50¢ a gallon spreads affect the bottom line greatly. That rebate keeps plummeting...and the whole "we don't have any loads" and "this is your best chance to get out of there" are cause to have concern.

I guess that's one reason I stay a company driver.
I don't need to waste my off duty time trying to figure out all this stuff.

All work related duties should, legally, be logged as on-duty.
That includes all the time spent figuring out routes and fuel rebates and bookkeeping and...
I imaging that if everything were included in the logs, that SHOULD be included, most O/O - L/O people would only be able to drive around 5 hours a day.

Are you using a fuel app? Because there isn't a place in the country where you can't beat the national if you shop around ... tracking your fuel cost against the national average should be one of your metrics.

Like stated, my gross revenues per mile are down, but my net is actually up ... and net is all that matters.
