they have a cell phone app that you just take a picture of the bill and it does the trip sheet for you and sends it in. My mentor is in the test group for it. I honestly cannot wait for that to go out to all drivers that want to use it.

Are you serious??? In-cab scanning is what this WHOLE vague video was about, or am I missing something? Transflo already has an app for this, Swift just needed an account.
I'd like to know what's really going on. This truck will not go to any terminal until I find out what this horse #### is all about. -
I saw some new 2016 Cascadias at the Memphis terminal last week with the automatics, one of the first things I noticed was a big sticker on the dash warning that the cruise control will be disabled when the windshield wipers are on. More babysitting from Swift for the incompetent people they stuff behind the wheel I guess.
-
Including the truck I trained in I've driven 10 different trucks since joining Swift. Of those two already had the function that disabled the cruise control when you engage the windshield wipers. It's inconsistent how they apply setups on their trucks. One thing I sorely miss is fog lights, not sure how eliminating them enhances safety.
DocWatson Thanks this. -
I heard from one driver whose truck would disable the cruise whenever the lights were on.

My jake will not work with my cruise control on. Only the adaptive cruise control will use it when the guy in front of you starts to slow down so it can hold following distance

chalupa Thanks this.

DocWatson, scottied67 and Moosetek13 Thank this. -

Not advanced enough?
It is a totally different switch position! Not hard to distinguish.
