Anybody have reliable news on the 611 Sears, Home Depot and K-mart dedicated accounts?
I have recruiters from Swift continuously contacting me about Dedicated accounts in My Home Area in The Quad Cities of IL/IA, stating they will pay .58cpm. It is supposed to be a mostly D/H, so I would imagine it would be at Distribution Centers.

Any info would be appreciated because they are asking how soon I would be available to start.

    Thanks.

My husband just switched to 611...kinda. he has only done 1 sears load in 2 weeks. The pay of .58/mile doesnt start till march 1, which is soon. The one load he did, he picked up at a dc and did 4 stops at local stores. They have filled him in with other loads based on his location and broke down for 5 days, so we really dont have an accurate picture of it yet.

Thank You for the heads up on the Dedicated accounts. I am one of those types that looks long and hard into any claims or offers made by recruiters...especially if they are non-stop calling/texting/emailing me about a gig. It kind of makes me un-easy about jumping in head first!

    Thanks again.

Now I'm getting confused a little bit (which really isn't all that hard to do,lol). I am currently running the Costco/GLR account and I was told that that was designated as 611. Then today I get a message on the Qualcomm looking for drivers for a 611 Sears account. And you all are saying that 611 is Sears as well. Just kind of puzzled about that. On GLR, I run a lot of Costco and a little bit of everything else including Sears and Kmart. Haven't done any Home Depot yet.

I did a Sears account out of columbus a few years ago and it absolutely sucked. Very short miles and the pay was no better than otr. With the pay package I saw on the Qualcomm message today, that would be a huge improvement, even better if they improved the average miles.

I dont think glr is the same as 611. Husband was told they require 1 year to get on glr and it includes every weekend home, he was then offered 611 because he was sick of driving new york/ new jersey and asked what his options were.

He was told starting march 1, it will be .58/mile, $20/additional stop and weekly on time bonus of $150

I've been told by multiple people, including my Dm, that GLR was 611. Guess I will have to check into that again.

What at you are saying about the pay scale confirms my theory about short miles for that account, especially the $20/stop (which isn't that great really. Otr gets $15/stop and Dollar Tree gets $40-if I remember right), and the weekly ontime bonus. They need that extra pay to compensate for the lack of miles you're gonna get. On the other hand, I'm getting .57/mile on Costco with no bonus pay, but I also average about 2200-2500/week.

Not surprised that GLR requires one year experience. If you have an accident or service failure on the account, they kick you off. They want quality drivers and pay for it. Likewise, I'm surprised your Sears account isn't the same way. I don't know about the Midwest Sears, but for Columbus Sears is their most important account and they demand perfection on that account as well.
