Not sure if this has been asked before but I'm still having trouble with this.

I've asked my DM and my fleet manager and I still can't seem to get a clear answer on this. Maybe one of you other guys know how this really works.

So I'm trying to get to Platinum as I have since I've been with Swift. As I understand it we need 108,000 miles a year on a rolling 52 week basis plus 100% on time record. That would be an average of 2077 miles a week which would obviously include your time off, vacation, breakdown, etc. I have the on time record but I took off 2.5 months for leave of absence in the fall to winter last year and that is working against me as I came back "reinstated" and not as a rehire. So my miles cumulatively for the past 52 weeks are including that time when I was gone earning 0 miles a week. I understand that. But here is the problem...

I have to know how many miles a week I need multiplied by X number of weeks to increase my ranking. That is the answer that I can't seem to get from my terminal.

Does anyone know what this equation would be and how I would work it?

This is driving me nuts stuck at "Bronze" status still yet running pretty close to 3000 miles a week.

(sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find a clear answer with the search function)

Just add up your miles for the last 51 weeks. Subtract that from 108000, and you know how many miles you need to make this week to make platinum.

    DocWatson Thanks this.

Platinum status is a bigger bonus and it opens up the macro 30 so you can select loads if they are available.

you get payed the exta bonus pay for every mile you drove that bonus period. So if you did 12000 miles and your bonus was 1cpm you get 120 bucks.

Are we all on the same rate cpm, if so, do you happen to know the amount? Thanks so much! My husband made platinum status in January after being rehired in November. I didn't think this was possible, but guess it is. There is so much of Swift's policies that are a complete black hole, so we deeply appreciate all of you guys' input. I have read each and every word of all your posts and have learned a lot from you. He worked for Swift for 4 years as a dedicated driver for Walmart, retired for a year, and decided to go back OTR. For the most part, he is happy....great DM, nice people to work with, but somewhat hard to find the answers. We have been trucking for 30+ years, so the driving is easy, it is all the other stuff that is challenging at times.
