Ok.. yes the paperwork is surprisingly straight forward and simple!

Why do the recruiters not have copies of those documents.

I was also told that should my employment term before the 12 months, I would only have to pay the remaining balance... that I would get the prorated credit for each week I worked.

It is quite clear that the ENTIRE 4400 is due in FULL, should I separate before the start of month 13.

But yes it is now confirmed VETS have nothing to worry about but food and lic exams.

There is only one other Vet in my class, but it seems everyone here was told a different VERY INACCURATE explanation of how any of the cost play out.

I just don't get it.... very straight forward stuff... and so much distrust due to misinformation.

Very surprising the recruiting portion, the front lines performs so poorly.

This school is very impressive so far. I am very pleased with the level of professionalism its being conducted with.
Everything is clean and well laid out, and all has been explained very clearly in detail.... again none of it should be complicated for anyone to explain.

I had actually gone out and snooped around a few close to home, and they further added to my impression that getting on with a training company was going to just be a dirty disorganized mess no matter.

Its quite impressive that Swift may in fact Really have their #### together!

Yes. that's what I posted earlier.

Very clear... not sure why the recruiters struggle to explain the two programs.

Or why they don't simply email a copy of the document??

It seems every person here had some different idea of what they were going to be charged, repaid, and how long it would take.

They charged you for a DOT physical? A Veteran? Wow. When my hubby started six months ago Swift paid for it. I can't tell you or anyone about the school, because he didn't attend Swift school.

You have the option to attend an extra week of class work to prep for DPS Lic tests. If you go to that week of school, they pay for phys.

But there is the option to do the testing on your own and skip that week.

My recruiter did not explain that well, and was also confused. She thought they paid for DPS testing, not DOT.
Lots of confusion and conflicting information from the recruiter ranks...

Its worth the $60 to avoid sitting in a weeks worth of classes.... since you would have to pay the DPS fees no matter.

Understood. Since he didn't attend Swift school orientation was 3 days. DOT physical was completed in aadvance before leaving home.

I am not sitting at home waiting on finishing the road portion of the school due to the lack of instructors. Should start back next week. The whole skills portion was a breeze once I got the hang of it. Takes some practice. But very doable.
