That's your lease to Swift which is the same for IEL leased trucks outside trucks . Your IEL lease of the truck to Swift prohibits hauling for anyone but Swift .
unloader Thanks this. -
I can haul for another carrier but I need to strip decals off the truck and return anything that belongs to Swift before I can talk any loads for different carrier

That's what I read also NoBluffBluff, thinking about bringing my lease into a real lawyer and see what they say. I am leaving swift in May no matter if I break the lease or take truck with me. Would still like to find someone to take over the 2 years I have left on it.
NoBluffBuff Thanks this. -

Am I reading what you are saying correctly. That's from the swift lease NOT the IEL lease? The IEL lease says no way only stay at swift. I would look at mine but I am on home time and not near truck. -
Well if thats true my lease truck keeps breaking down and im in an iel loner and werw talking about just changing my lease to this one havent had a problem with it in 4 months knock on wood if I do that im taking this truck and going to mercer

If the truck is leased through Iel. You cannot pull anything other then swift's freight without swift's permission. Check your Iel lease agreement not the sub contractor agreement.
