Hard to believe that it has been 4 years already since I first came here and got my first truck. Where did the time go. I want to say for the trolls that I know will be here (it is okay, I know that you have to be fed), that there has been ups and downs, but for the most part, ups. At all times when I was having issues or problems Swift was right there backing me up. Truck breaks down for 3 weeks and Swift is there with a loaner. Truck payment getting made and I am earning. Truck as had other breakdown issues and instead of being in the hole, they have deferred a payment or two so that I was not hurting. Let me ask, if you are sole O/O and you are down for weeks is your bank going to wait for the payment if you are short a little.

For the trolls again, let me say. It is what works for me and I am happy with it. Please, if nothing nice to say or if you are a newbie that thinks that they already know everything, please just do me a favor, do like my mother taught me, nothing nice to say, then say nothing, and move on.

The new truck, T-680, automatic. I would put up a pic if I could figure it out in my signature, but it is asking for URL instead of upload from computer.

If you're a sole O/O, either you're earning enough that you're never, ever 'short a little', or you're doing something terribly wrong.

You're lying! You did nothing of the sort! Just a Swift plant!

lol. Congrats. Let me ask you, once you complete your lease, is there a buy-out option? What is the cost to buy the truck after the lease is up? Thanks

Yes, there is a buyout that Swift will help finance with at least 30% down and that just did not fit into my plans. The balloon was about $60K. I am retiring in 2 years or so and they know this so my lease is a walk away and they will find a driver to take it over for the last year.
