New Camera System Coming to all company trucks.

DriveCam, from a company named Lytx, is about to be rolled out to all company trucks. This will be announced shortly, within the next few days or weeks. This system is a dash cam and interior cam as one unit. The unit records all audio inside the cab as well as the driver. It records 20 second loops. Which means it is always recording but only Events are stored in 20 second intervals. 10 seconds before and seconds after. These video's are stored online for 90 days and a copy kept for an additional 275 days offline. As well as being downloadable and saved by Swift Safety at anytime during the initial 90 days of online storage. Personally I am disgusted by these things. I do not care how good a tool they are when they will undoubtedly violate my privacy. I will not tolerate them and I sincerely hope no one else is willing to hand over the nails to their own coffin. When and if this system hits my truck I will be leaving swift. Good luck and Drive safe all!

This system combines with your logs and has its own gps monitoring hardware that will be used make sure your not speeding at any point and that your logs match duty status. Using another THIRD PARTY as if swift,qualcom and drivecam were not enough people with the ability to track you. This company is called RAIR Compliance services.
